In 2018, we were commissioned to design a custom typeface for the communication of a specific product of a national Mexican beer brand. Thus was born Especial, a calligraphic font inspired by the Copperplate style that was detached from the original logo of the brand. It has a basic set for writing Spanish and a series of alternative glyphs that embellish and vary as you type.
